Lumifloor raised floor is the most recent product developed by Newfloor, that allows the panels or a part of them to be visible and distinctive when there is no light.

The idea taps into the distinctive natural attributes of the rare luminescent pigments that can be found in nature and are able to capture and sustain the sunlight or the artificial light. Afterward they bring back a low intensity darkness for 8 hours maximum in an overall eco-friendly way, which renders the system unique in the market.

Lumifloor was designed to indicate a building’s evacuation pathways in case of sudden power cut, providing immediate lighting and therefore a safe environment. Lumifloor is not meant to be installed only in offices but is also suitable for public spaces such as museums, malls, exhibition spaces, cinemas etc., where it illuminates both pathways and emergency exits. It can also be used in open spaces like verandas, paths, pool edges constructed with raised floors, in order to showcase specific spots during the night.
